With their combined talents, they decided to come together to create Buds, a perennial powerhouse! The name just seemed obvious: friends, flowers, BUDS. So when you need to send a gorgeous arrangement to your Mom, set a sensational table for a dinner party, or florals for your next big event, no request is too big or small.
Jimmy Jamieson has 20 years of experience in the interior design business owning and operating the award winning firm, Jamieson Design in Saint Louis. Jimmy is also an avid gardener, art collector and floral designer. For over 20 years, he has been involved in organizing and planning many fundraising gals and events for local organizations such as the St. Louis Symphony, Jazz St. Louis, Opera Theater St. Louis, The Sheldon, Dance St. Louis, The Contemporary Museum St. Louis, St. Louis Zoo, Craft Alliance, St. Louis Effort for Aids, Doorways, Food Outreach, PROMO, Independence Center and many, many more. With BUDS, Jimmy is now able to bring all his talents and interests under one roof to design and create the most fabulous weddings and events.
Tony Montano was the founder and owner of Montano Grant Floral and Event Design. He is a self-taught floral artist with a passion to articulate his creative vision through fresh flowers in decidedly custom haute couture designs. He takes pride in having established himself as a recognized contributor in the local event industry, having designed functions for Anheuser Busch Companies, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Co., The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Major League Baseball, Pinnacle Entertainment, Chase Park Plaza Hotel, May Company along with many memorable bridal and other elegant celebrations. Tony spent 2004 to 2014 in New York City where he had the chance to experience floral designing in an entirely different level having worked alongside New York City’s finest florists and event designers on many international events and the most glamorous private events. Armed with new knowledge and experience, Tony is back in Saint Louis to make beautiful floral creations in collaboration with Jimmy.
